Blue Institute is a research institute and a think tank devoted the business community. We were founded in 2007 to conduct research and provide insights about the evolving economic, strategic and technological environment, and to use that knowledge to help business leaders and policymakers to make better decisions.
We contribute to the business community in three dimensions: providing a platform for network engagement, creating and sharing knowledge, and providing expert advice to decision makers.
Companies continuously search for growth opportunities. We conduct research and analysis on markets, technologies and societal trends. Our work is premised on the perspective that growth is not only measured in sales and financial value, but also in terms of relevance to society and to the general business community.
Through our network we are constantly aware of the current topics and future challenges of businesses. We pursue issues pertaining to particular markets and sectors, technologies and managerial challenges. We operate with a range of methods for developing and disseminating knowledge, on a continuum from the confidential one-on-one dialogue via commissioned research and round tables to public reports.
Our aim is to build sector expertise across all major industries and all topics of managerial relevance. We want to be the natural speaking partner for both the business sector and the public sector when it comes to addressing future strategic challenges.
The foundation of Blue Institute consists of the relationships we have in the business and academic communities. The common thread of all our activities is the aim of initiating discussions with and among decision makers. These discussions are at the heart of our focus on providing creative, productive and confidential dialogues, and on capturing and disseminating the energy and knowledge released as minds meet.
We engage the business community through a variety of fora. Our Executive Forum groups meet regularly to discuss current challenges. In the Swedish Growth Barometer companies meet to discuss the short and medium term macroeconomic and sectoral outlook. The Growth Barometer also engages policy makers, politicians and opinion builders in public seminars. We engage in academic networks through joint research projects, publications and the provision of scholarships.
We also cultivate relationships and grow our network through consortia projects and ad hoc round table discussions pertaining to our research activities. In these projects we also engage with policymakers at the local, national and regional level. Stakeholders from the public sector are also highly involved in these activities.
Our activities enable us to leverage market and organizational knowledge and provide advisory services on a wide range of topics. We frequently engage with clients in the areas of business development, market analysis, organizational assessment and development, internal management academies and top management team development.
We also provide project management services. We specialize in providing platforms for consortia projects involving multiple stakeholders.
In addition to our own expertise, our network allows us to mobilize associated senior advisors with expertise from specific industries and from the academic community.
